Michael has over 16 years of experience serving both industry and teaching as a technical instructor at higher education. Michael is currently serving as the business advisor to the Economics Development Commission of the Space Coast.

Manufacturing Engineer (2008–Present)

• Facilities Engineer. Provide resolution to employee concerns pertaining to workspace in Brevard County Facilities.
• Environmental, Health & Safety. Perform accident investigations. Perform Indoor Air Quality investigations. Perform noise surveys in accordance with Hearing Conservation Program. Support EHS activities as they arise.
• Skills Training. Responsible for training Contract Hire and New Hire Assemblers and Technicians to successfully manufacture Unfurlable Space-Based RF Reflector assemblies.
• Program Engineer for Operations and Maintenance Depot contract. Responsible for scheduling operations and maintenance work at depot level. Responsible for management of contract, maintaining budget and staffing personnel.

Operations Management Supervisor (2006–2008)
Responsible for providing Technician support to manufacturing programs. Responsible for personnel administration associated with technicians (90 employees) assigned to my department. Facilitated Lean Six-Sigma (Kaizen) workshops to improve manufacturing processes resulting in cost savings.

Production Management Supervisor, (2004-2006)
Department Manager for Circuit Card Assembly areas in two facilities, Development Manufacturing (39 employees) and Production Manufacturing (50 employees). Responsible for the development and implementation of activities on the manufacturing floor to meet production goals, quality and cost objectives. Responsible for prioritizing production schedule based on product introduction, equipment efficiency and materials supply. Responsible for planning and administering departmental budget.
